After moving across country I fell out of touch with Peter but he was frequently in my thoughts. We had worked together at STB Systems and then became friends. I was so utterly saddened and surprised to hear about his passing. No one could make me laugh like he did. A real joy and will be missed, by many, I'm sure.

I first met Peter at Rollins College my freshman year. He was one of the most delightful people I have ever known, so very charismatic and a true heart of gold. My prayers to his family.

I have been trying to locate my lost friend Peter Franklin Rose for over 10 years. I have written letters to his past address just in case it would be forwarded to him. In the age of social network and Google I was unable to locate him. Today (May 22, 2015); I was giving it another try through Google Search and I ran into his obituary. Peter and I worked at STB Systems in Richardson, Texas in 1986/87. As co-workers we became close friends. I recall him dancing on the song Walk Like an Egyptian by The Bangles after he closed a major deal. I loved his sense of humor and on certain occasions Peter and I went for kite flying at Bob Woodruff Park in Plano, Texas. I remember how sincere Peter was. Over time; as life got busy we lost touch yet I never gave up looking for him.
God Bless and Rest in Peace my friend. God brought us together for a short time and I wish we had spent more time together.

Dear Rose Family,
I want to express my deepest condolence. I was several years younger than Peter at Cistercian, but I remember him as a funny guy. I will miss him as part of the Cistercian family I grew to know and admire.
May the love of our Lord be with you, Peter, as you meet him in paradise.
Luke and Marina, you are in our prayers. Your father's love will always be with you. The Arras Family

Peter, thanks for always being there with me! Peter sponsored me through my confirmation - he was the best man for the job. I will miss him dearly, but will always remember him for the fun we had together. He truly brought happiness everywhere he went.

We met Peter about 10 years ago, about the time Luke and Marina came into his life. We are related to their grandparents Jay and Rosemary Bagwell. We love Luke and Marina and share in the grief of the family. Peter will truly be missed.

I taught across the hall from Peter at North Dallas H.S., and I saw first hand everyday his love and compassion for his students, who had autism, and his determination to give them the best education. Among our group, he was the ringleader of the fun. He was one of the most delightful people I have ever known. May light perpetual shine on him.

Peter...you will always be remembered for your wit, humor and thoughtfulness. If ever I loved crewing with someone, it was you. It is a wonder that Red Dog tolerated the both of us on the boat and during regattas. You will always be my SMU baby.
Rest well in heaven, my sweet friend.

So long, bro.
Though your name means Rock, I think of another guy who liked to dance.
Mercy and judgment I will sing to thee, O Lord: I will sing, and I will understand in the unspotted way, when thou shalt come to me. I walked in the innocence of my heart, in the midst of my house.
Fare Well, Roser. Give our love to Trey. I'll See You When I See You.
