Anya and family, what a rich life Richard shared with all of you. Exceptional student, athlete, veteran, and businessman, you shared the life of a genuine Renaissance man who nutured a wonderful family. Can life be lived any better? If so, how can that be?

I know that you will miss Richard as I miss my father who passed in 1996. But, I hope that you will rejoice with him the joy in his heart for the many decades of nurturing your family. Love within his family was clearly his chosen path for a long, successful and satisfying life. I know only Anya and Jeff, and if Anya had been Richard's sole life achievement, I can say, without any mental reservation, that it was a life worth living, and her father was clearly a man worth knowing and loving.
