During 2017 I was thinking back of some very good times I spent many years ago with Conny and Thomas W. Hill at Bethel Baptist Church in Frankfurt, Germany. Today I sat down to look in the internet of some information where Conny and Thomas W.Hill went after leaving Frankfurt. We met each other in my German course and I remember how open minded, friendly and enthousiastic both have been and welcomed everybody at Bethel Baptist Church. It was a pleasure and honour to meet and pass time with you and although I feel sorry to just send a condolence now, I am happy to read that Conny and Thomas Hill were able to live and work in many more Bethel Baptist Churches around the world, and I am sending all the best for you Conny and your family. My daughter is now out in the world, helping people, and there is sure an input of your inspiration and people like you that helps to give this inspiration to our children. With best wishes Brigitte Link (your former teacher for German)

Wade & I first heard about Tom's passing away just a few weeks ago. We had no idea so am sorry to be late in offering our condolences to Connie, Crystal & Cindy & grandchildren. We live in Richmond & first met them in sunday school class known as the Eagles. We loved Tom dearly and visited both he & Connie several times while on their mission fields. They were like family to us and our 2 children. Tom & our son, Jordan, had close birthdays, so for many years, Tom & Connie would take both my children out for a dinner to celebrate their birthdays. We spent one Christmas with them in Germany when they were serving in Frankfurt--a Christmas we will never forget.
He was the kindness person & always made you feel you were special to him. We had many prayer times together.
Our prayers are with Connie and her family.
Tom truly was "one of a kind" and I look forward to seeing him once again in Heaven. Love you, Connie!

Absolutely one of the kindest, gentlest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Dad Person and Mom Person (as I called them) were dear friends of my parents from their college and seminary days together (at Mississippi College/New Orleans Seminary, in the late 40's/early 50's) and became my surrogate parents in Germany. They took care of me at holidays and entertained several of my friends and even welcomed my parents into their home in Frankfurt. I served Bethel BC as Music Minister for some time, with Dad Person as pastor. It was the Hills who "found" and introduced me to Scott Stearman, whom I married 2 years later. And it was Dad Person who officiated at our ceremony. I consider myself quite privileged, having known Tom Hill for almost all of my life.

Though decades have gone past, Pastor Tom Hill is a gentleman we will dearly and fondly remember. While he and Mrs. Connie lived in Costa Rica, in perhaps his third or fourth retirement, their influence, definitely guided by the Holy Spirit, had us make a comeback in adoration to our Lord, and in fellowship with believers; despite some difficult circumstances which, as he promised, resulted in being easier to overcome with guidance from our Savior-. Staying on this path Pastor Tom helped lead us back-to, has resulted in the certainty for our eternal future, where we know we will be able to meet again. Thank you!

Additionally, in a loving, up-lifting and true-interest fashion, pastor Tom further exerted his divine empowerment influence under which we married currently placing us at the 23+ years of rewarding relationship. Thanks again!

Always in motion, always forward and overcoming obstacles with faith and good testimony to others, we are comforted that in following of the Great Commission, Pastor Tom is now where he influenced so many to be Hasta luego Tomás, nos vemos pronto!
