Frank,

I speak to you in the present tense, as your spirit and soul are forever lasting.

You are the fairest, most honest and knowledgeable manager that I have had the privilege of working with in my professional career.

You are a gentleman and professional of the highest order. You served your country proudly as a Naval Aviator, flying unsung but dangerous surveillance and reconnaissance missions near hostile territories during the heat of the Cold War.

As my manager, you functioned as both a leader and mentor. You taught me many of the basic banking principals that I have used throughout my banking career, and still use today. As an attorney, you provided valuable guidance to both banking and personal issues.

I remember the lunches we used to enjoy at Mexican restaurants after you retired. Three enchiladas a-la-carte if I recall. We spoke of banking, your military career (you brought and shared your pictures) and life.

Paramount to all of your achievements and accomplishments, you are and will always be my friend.

My best wishes and prayers to Joy and Lezli and your extended family.

Frank you were an incredible human being. You were the best Manager I've ever worked for and with. You always defuse altercations and kept the group on the right track. I will always be indebted to you and your family. Joy may the good Lord continue to bless you and your family.

Frank, you were the very best boss anyone could ever want. You should have fired me but you were patient and, eventually, I think I made the grade. Joy, my condolences to you and your family. Sherry Matney
