I have a fishing memory that dates back to the late 1960's. I had gone with Uncle Woodrow to White Oak to fish and I ended up being his helper. I don't think I fished 10 minutes. He must have pulled over 100 pan fish out of the lake that afternoon and he just started tossing them to a grass area behind him. I kept picking them up and putting them in a burlap sack. He had hit the jackpot that day.

I also have memories of dove hunting with Uncle Woodrow too. One time he saw one on a limb about 50 yards out and he wanted to get closer, and I told him I wanted to shoot it from there. He said Ok, if you think you can hit it. I pulled the trigger and it dropped to the ground. He said that's good shooting.
