My father was a precinct captain in the old 34th Ward organization (66th precinct) and thought the world of Mr. Rostenkowski. In our home, his name was always mentioned with respect and admiration. A treasured memento of those years is a Christmas card from the early 60's, with a beautiful family picture on the front. I met him a few times and I will always remember the big smile on his face when he spoke to this teenager.

May Heavenly Father bless you with many memories and much comfort and peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Rostenkowski Family in their time of grief. At times like these, "God is near to those who are broken at heart;
And those crushed in spirit he saves." (Psalm 34:18) I hope this will bring the family a measure of comfort.

Lavern, Dawn, Kristi, and Gayle,

So sorry to hear of the lost of Mr. Rostenkowski. I have many fond memories of growing up next door and spending alot of time with your family in Chicago and Wisconsin. He is now at rest with Stacey.

Gayle - You and your family are in my prayers. My sisters and I were so sorry to hear about the loss of your Father. And also saddened to hear of Your Sister Stacy's passing too. It was truly an honor to know a man like your Father; His service is quite a testimony of his goodness. We will always remember you and your family as welcoming, kind and generous while at the lake years ago. God Bless you and your family. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you during this difficult time.

Our sincere prayers for the intentions of the Rostenkowski family. Dan was a model to follow as a friend, supporter of key charities such as St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital Center and many others. He had our admiration and respect and will be missed. Sue and Wally Block, ( Darien, Illinois)
