To the family of Danny Litwhiler, my heartfelt condolences goes out to you all for the loss of your loved one. What has been a source of comfort is knowing that God is ready to heal all broken hearts. Psalms 147:3

My heart is filled with happy memories of Uncle Danny, here in Mahanoy City sitting at my mom and dads home with "his brother Sterling" sitting at the kitchen table Uncle Danny telling funny stories about baseball and dad telling jokes. I was a young girl at that time,I remember the room being filled with warm joyful times. It was an honer to have a Uncle with so much talent and knowlege to invent so many great things for baseball. Im sure your now with your mother and father and all you brothers and sister playing baseball again like it was back a lifetime ago in Ringtown, Pa. God bless you Uncle Danny and Aunt Pat and family. You will never be forgotten

Danny enriched all the lives of us here at the Hampton with his generous sharing of baseball stories. I followed his career all the way from 1941, he was and still is my baseball hero. I am delighted and honored that Pat has asked me to participate in his Memorial. Danny has now gone to the real "biggies" and I am sure the Great Skipper welcomed him. We will truly miss him---our love, to you Pat, Dan, and all the family. Harry and Shirley.
