This is the passing of not only a great man but a great coach and we all in the Longhorn Nation will miss him. However, I know we will see Coach Royal later. God bless Edith and Family

I'm not a UT fan, but I've always thought the world of Darrell Royal. He was one of the very best. May GOD be with his Family and many friends.

Nothing says "Texas Longhorns" more than Coach Royal. I always enjoyed the spirit that you brought to the game and to Austin, but to Texas Longhorn football. There was a mirrored image between you and Coach Tom Landry, because of the respect you had for the sport, your organization and more so the respect people had for you. This world truly lost a very special person. RIP Coach Royal and now you go and help Coach Landry coach the Angels!
