Dear Julie, Corey and Dan:

On behalf of my family and myself, I want to extend our most sincere sympathy and condolences upon the passing of a wonderful Husband, Father and Friend.

Dave was truly a talented gentleman, who was greatly loved and admired by all who knew him for his many contributions to his church, community, country and society in general.

As a long-time associate at Providence College and friend since 1969, I personally witnessed many of his accomplishments, which are so well-known. In addition to his many, many achievements,he epitomized caring, loyalty, dedication and friendship and certainly was a sterling example for those with whom he came in contact.

Because of his exemplary life, he can be assured of a greatly-deserved place in God's kingdom for eternity. And he will always live on in the hearts, thoughts and prayers of all who were fortunate to know him.

God Bless Dave and all his Family.

Sincerely,

Bill Nero

My deepest condolences to you and your family Mrs. Gavitt. As as avid basketball fan and player, I so respected your husband and all he did for
not only the sport, but he touched so many people on so many levels! I am going to miss his hearty laugh and that sparlkling smile - not to mention the stories he shared with me! I wish you the best. I speak for all of us here at Roger Williams Lab when I say it was a pleasure to get to know him.
