Dr. Amar Bose and the Bose Corporation have been supporters of the Museum of Science for many years, and on behalf of our entire community I wish to express our condolences in the loss of one of technology's champions and in the loss of a personal friend. Visiting the Museum often with his children, Dr. Bose observed, understood, and advocated for the value of STEM learning in shaping the future of our youth. We value Dr. Bose's legacy in the world of informal science and engineering education, as well as his innovative contributions in the technological industry for which he is so revered. As a generous corporate partner, Dr. Bose will be missed by the Museum of Science family.

To the Bose family.
Offering my deepest condolences during this difficult time,
I'm so very sorry for your loss, death is something we are
never prepared for, but please find comfort in knowing God
has promised He will do away with sickness, pain and death
for His word is truth.

It was 1979 when I bought my much-coveted 901's in Edmonton while at the university dorm, where it provided music for many a party! I bought them, first, because I knew how good the sound would be, secondly, as you were of Indian ancestry, like myself, I wanted to support you. Little did I know that today, I would still love listening to them! You changed the way we listen to music at home, on the go with noise-cancelling headphones, and in our vehicles. I have never heard of a human being more passionate about the products he delivered. I am transfixed by your M.I.T. lectures. To a modern-day genius and a warm human being, we will miss you. But, your fabulous legacy will continue enhancing musical pleasure for millions around the world. It is most fitting that your product carries your name. R.I.P. Rom.15:33.
