Diana was a true golf legend and inspiration for women golfers. She was a very wonderful person who will be greatly missed. I'm glad I had the opportunity to know her. Our prayers and deepest sympathy go out to her family.

I was so sorry to hear of Mrs. Schwab's death. I attended both VB and Fairmont West and one of my strongest memories of Mrs. Schwab was all the field hockey games she and Mrs. Buck would referee (often in cold windy weather). We were so fortunate in Kettering to have such great women PE teachers and athletes. When Title 9 came to Kettering (I was in 9th grade), the women's teams did fantastic -- thanks to many great coaches, including Mrs. Schwab.

I was sorry to hear about the accident that claimed the life of Diana. I hadn't seen her in years but she was quite personable and a little larger than life. I first met her at an Ohio State coaching clinic where she introduced herself with the question-Okay boys what are we playing for and then she proceeded to put on her own golf clinic. She became greatly respected among the old boys club and I know she will be greatly missed by family and love ones but those like myself who only developed a relationship for one season each year will never forget her.

Carey your mom was such a wonderful person. She took me to Chicago to the Women's U.S. Open qualifier the first time I qualified for the open. I truly enjoyed my time on the links with your mom. You have my heart felt condolences. Take strength in knowing that her memory will live on in all the lives she touched. She played a big part in me reaching my dream of playing the LPGA Tour.

Dear Carey and Family,
We were truly shocked and saddened to hear of Diana's death. In our sixteen years in Dayton, I played against and with her in many tournaments. I will always remember our fun times together, her great smile and big heart. Having lost a mother also, I can tell you that she will always be with you and will continue to watch over you. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time. May God Bless you.

Carey, so sorry to hear about your Mom. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I wanted to let you know that as I became more involved in the various aspects of golf I had the opportunity to meet and watch your Mom in "her element". She loved golf and her dedication to the various aspects of the game was impressive. There was not a seminar or school that I attended that she was not there. Everybody in the area knew her and respected her.

To Diana's family, My prayers are with you at this difficult time. Diana was such a great role model for so many of us golfers, both young and older. She was always willing to take the time to teach you how to play better. She may not have been in the classroom any longer but the "teacher" in her was always present and we golfers learned so much from her. May you remember all the good times.

I'm so sorry to hear about Diana. She was my 8th grade gym teacher at Van Buren. She made a lasting impact on my life. May she enjoy the great golf course in the sky.
