I was saddened to learn of the passing of
Grady and my sincerest condolences to the
Hatton family. I had the pleasure to meet Grady back in 1983 while visiting
Texas baseball players, and later in 2011. Both times Grady was wearing those trademark bib-overalls. I really
enjoyed Grady's Baseball stories and I
will always treasure the time he spent
with me. If there is a Hall Of Fame in
Heaven, I can guarantee Grady's in. May
your soul forever rest in peace. And
may God always bless your family.

I was lucky enough to still have a couple of his baseball cards. As an adult some 40 years later he honored my autograph request.

Grady a friend of all baseball fans.

Rest in peace!

You will be be remembered.
