I met Cassie back in high school even though she attended West Vigo while I went to South Vigo HS, as she and her siblings took taekwondo karate lessons at the Phil Minton school in Terre Haute where I and my cousin Gene also took classes. Cassie was beautiful, bright, and an adept learner of karate I am happy to add. I consider myself blessed to have known her. Our family extends its condolences and prayers to the Jacobs family.
I'm just finding out about my good friend Cassie passing. I'm so saddened by this news. Cassie was a wonderful person. We worked closely together at NCR for many years. I think about her often and her awesome skills and talent. She will always have a special place in my heart. Please know her family and friends are in my prayers.
To all of those who have been writing about Cassie in this online quest book. I just need to tell you how very much it has mint to me. I discovered it a few days after she died. It just made me feel like she was here revealing things to me that I had not known about her life . Stories about her work. Things she would never tell about helping others at work.
Cassie left some pretty good marks here and there. We have always been proud of our Cassie. It makes me feel good to see what she mint to so many others. And God bless you all of her old friends from West Terre Haute. Thank you for the cards and the loving sentiment. Cassie now lives with God. We cant see her anymore on this earth. But she is here in her spirit. I love you Cassie.Mom
I pray that my precious friend is in peace. She was my boss for many years and more importantly a friend. I have very fond memories of her, especially a fun trip to Paris. She was a very smart lady...I learned so much from her. I am thankful I have her chocolate mint recipe. Prayers for her family..
It was such a shock to read of Cassie's passing. She was my last manager at NCR nine years ago when I retired. She was a true professional and a wonderful, thoughtful, kind and fair person. It was a pleasure to have known and worked with her. My deepest sympathy to Cassie's family. May God bless you and watchover you in this time of great sorrow.
There are no words to describe the feelings of shock and sadness when I heard you had passed. We had known each other since we were young and playing softball. My best memories come from the shenanigans and laughs in the dug out. I am so grateful for Facebook and the opportunity to reunite with old friends from home. I was so happy we had that opportunity over the next couple of years to chat and catch up. About a year or so ago you deleted your facebook and I've missed talking to you since. The one conversation I remember vividly was me telling you that over the years whenever HS came up, you were always the first person I thought of. From the time I first met you I loved your name. It was unique and beautiful, like you. Also, Cassie was the name of the first person I met, who became my best friend, when I moved here and she has been my friend for about 30 years. I told her about you, when we first met, because of the name I loved. When I had my first daughter, I told everyone I was naming her Cassandra. My husband and I fought for 2 days over her name and I finally felt I should give in, because I had hadn't been the most pleasant of pregnant wives. So, she was named Nicole Cassandra Jacobs. She loves it too and actually went by Cass or Cassandra in HS so many of her friends and her boyfriend of 5 years calls her Cassandra. Cassie, you were smart, beautiful and a really good person. My heart hurts for those you were really close to, especially Elissa. I know this cannot be easy for her and her family, and I feel for your family. You had a beautiful family who all loved you so much and I know that your loss has to be so difficult for them. I will keep them all in my thoughts & prayers. I take comfort knowing that you are at peace.
RIP Cassandra Jacobs. In my heart & home, you won't ever be forgotten.
