Dr. Dubro, Jeff and family, my mom called me today and told me about the loss of your wife and mother. I just wanted to let you know you are in my prayers and I am so sorry for your loss.
George & I are so sad to hear of Sandy's passing. My heart breaks for you, Allen, in remembering the great times we had together and at family Simchas.
My condolences go out to the whole Dubro family. Sandy always welcomed me in her home with that big smile of hers, and always made Jeff's friends feel welcome. She was always the "cool mom" who made every one feel at ease. She is at peace now, and left many with fond memories.
What a priviledge to have know Sandy, not only as a colleague, but as my friend. She was truly one of the most special people I have ever known! Her compassion and love for the children she taught was inspiring. Her loyalty, kindness, wit and empathy were what made her such a precious friend. She deeply loved her husband, her family and her faith. What a wonderful example she set for all of us. May God comfort each of you who loved her so dearly and give you peace.
Mr. DuBro was my teacher at Hillel Day School. She was a wonderful teacher that I recall fondly. Her memory will always be a blessing to those of us who knew and benefited from her wonderful teaching skills.
To the Dubro Family:
My deepest sympathies go out to your family. Mrs. Dubro was my 4th grade teacher at Valerie Elementary, and I couldn't have asked for a more kind, more loving, or more dedicated teacher. I can only imagine what kind of wife, mother, sister, and friend she was if she was that wonderful to her students. May you all take comfort in the knowledge that God has brought another angel home to sit next to Him on the throne.
Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I am a former student of Mrs. Dubro, 4th grade Valerie Elem 1983, I was just speaking to another teacher about one of my favorite teachers that I will never forget, funny how I was just contacting Human Resources to try to locate Mrs. Dubro, to say hi and see how she was, she was on my mind real heavy in the past week. God has called her home, and I just want the family to know, she helped shape me into the person I am today, and I loved her for teaching me, and for being a great teacher to us, she will be deeply missed
