My dear friend,
I found the prayer that you recited at Thanksgiving last year when my mom(Peggy) was in the hospital. I will read it this year in your honor, provided I can find it Thursday when I leave for the meal! :) I miss you buddy.
I wanted you to know I was thinking about you today. You are loved and missed.
Mr. Jackson was a good man, good teacher, a person who cared about the kids he worked with. I only got to see him a little but felt that he was well liked and respected. May god bless your family. You & your family are in our prayers. Lonnie Wright & family, youth leader I, Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Center.
I will always remember Shane as a little boy, always being the cut-up and playing jokes. He was my first nephew and even though I had not see him for years at a time; when I did see him, it was like no time went by at all. We picked up where we left off - joking and throwing pillows, etc. I am sorry I couldn't be there to say "good bye", but I was there in spirit. I asked Kevin and Dad to meet you on the other side.
Shane, you will be missed by many... I hope you realized how much you were loved.
Your Aunt Cyndy
Shane you are truly missed. My heart is heavy with sadness. I have no words to express what you meant to me, Wade, Amber, and Stephen. Your heart was golden. You were the most kind, caring, gentle loving man ever. Your girls were your world. You will always be in our heart??never to be forgotten. So rest in peace sweet prince~
Dear Dobie, Emma, Sara Charlotte and family, we send our thoughts and prayers to you all, so sorry for your loss. love Robby, Cathy and family
Shane was a great man, co-worker, and friend. The youth he worked with were always grateful of his persistance and dedication to helping them. Everyday that I would pass him in the hall, he would show his large smile and always ask about my day. He will be sorely missed and the hallways are a little less chipper without him. I keep his family and loved ones in my prayers.
Shane, Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Mathew 5:16. ) The imprint of your Christian life will remain for eternity. We got your back Big Guy! May you rest in peace.
You were so good with words - but you can't help me with this one. I have no words to express what you meant to so many people, and how sorry we all are that you are gone from us too soon. I have no words to fill the void - we miss you so much. Our students miss you - I miss you. You were the best little brother I never had. Now who is going to help me argue the genius of Tolkien?? We're all ok with the Python stuff, but I really need the backup for JRRT... My deepest sympathy to your entire family - especially to your lovely girls, who so obviously meant the world to you - and to your friends, as well. We will carry you in our hearts - we are better people for having known you.
A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.

My deepest condolences to Mr. Jackson's family. Shane Jackson was a great teacher. He truly cared about our students and about their success. He was also a very caring friend to many of his colleagues at Montgomery County Detention Center. He also cared very deeply for his family. His impact on the lives he touched will be felt for eternity. You will be greatly missed!
With Deepest Sympathy,
Principal of Montgomery County Juvenile Detention School

I'll always remember Shane as the quiet, gentle young man who frequently played D&D with Jeff and Dave all night at our house on weekends. Through the years, I have enjoyed watching him mature into the caring, loving, friend, teacher, husband and father that we all grieve for now. You were special Shane and we should all take a moment to reflect upon the lesson your untimely passing can teach us about valuing our remaining lives.
I have not seen Shane for about 14 years but I remember the one thing he held most dear was family. Jackson's, Clark's and McGrew/Burns families take comfort in the fact that you ALL gave him the greatest gift-your love. Shane was intelligent, spiritual, a loyal friend with a compassionate soul, huge heart and a truly uniquely contagious laugh. He brought out the best in everyone which is why it is no surprise he made an excellent teacher. My heart goes out to his daughters who will never get to spend more time with their daddy. I firmly believe he is their new guardian angle and will always be watching out for them as well as everyone he loved. We all were truly blessed by having him in our lives
Worked with Shane for but a short while - just since Fall.
One thing was obvious right away:
Here was a man who cared deeply
- who laughed heartily
- who tried to do what was best and right.
- who was there when you needed him.
Here was a man who will be missed.
We are so saddened by the loss of our nephew, yet so blessed that we have such wonderful memories of times shared with Shane. I'm remembering such and important day, when our daughter got married. They asked Shane to preform the service, he agreed, and they were so happy with his wit and words of encouragement. Shane you will be missed, we will always remember you with love.

So sorry to hear about Shane. I knew him when he stayed with the Blackmore's while he was attending Wright State. Sweet, funny, and wonderful person. Earth's loss but Heaven's gain. Kay Patton
I am so terribly sorry for your family's loss. The years I taught with you, you always spoke with such love for your daughter's and your wife. I know they will keep you in their hearts. As a teacher, you reached many students others might have found too challenging. You are truly gone too soon.
Shane was the consummate professional. He will be sorely missed.
Shane you touched alot of people's hearts over the years. I know the Clark familly is deeply saddened over your passing. I didn't know you too well, but as the clark familly shares stories of their past, you are always included as one of the familly memners in the stories. GOD only takes the one's from us that he needs. Tragic for the one's you have left behind, but the good LORD above has an outstanding person to walk with him. In the end, that is all of our goals and you just got there a bit early. R.I.P.
May the thoughts and prayers of your friends ease your pain during your time of loss
Sorry we didn't finish/sign our condolence note. You have our prayers. Mary & Ron Curtis

You now light the way with grandma and Zachary. We are going to miss you so much. Love you, Shane

My deepest regrets for your loss. I will keep you all in my prayers. I was fortunate enough to know Shane through T.E.A.M.S. as an educator for a Detention Center. I feel honored to have known Shane and am blessed with the memories of a wonderful fellow educator. He will be missed by all who have been touched by his energy.
I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your brother. My prayers go out to you and your family.
Shane was my workplace "roommate". We shared a classroom at Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Center for years. Since we were in such close proximity, we had many discussions and supported each other professionally. Because his family was always at the forefront of his mind and at the center of his heart, many of our chats focused on them. I will miss the humorous and endearing stories about Emma and Sarah, and of Shane's ventures with Dodi. I will miss the excitability in his eyes when he shared synopses of his favorite sci-fi novels, but more than anything, I will miss Shane's giggles and his brotherly advice. I know how difficult it must be for the family to have surrendered such a jewel of a guy. I hope the prayers and memories of all who knew and loved Shane help to heal and sustain you at this time.
