I miss Harley so much. I met him in Nashville in 2008; we got along like a house on fire, bantering back and forth and having a wonderful time kidding around, cos that was Harley. After his show, he asked me to stick around for a while and hang out and chat. I did; I told him of a deeply spiritual experience I'd had that moved him to tears -- many, many tears. He had such a HUGE heart and an amazing soul. He gave me a wonderful gift of friendship that night; he was a brilliant, shining beacon of light to me, a meteor that came zooming through my life for one fun-filled evening, but he left such a massive impact no one or nothing else can compare to. He was at Puckett's in Lieper's Fork showcasing Jeffrey East and The Broussards. It was a magical night I will never forget. I'll never forget the kindness, humour, and light of this very special musical angel. God bless you, Harley. You will always be my soul brother. xo
