Lynne, you were truly an awesome person and a true friend. We will miss you so much, because you always added that something extra to any conversation, the kind word of exhortation or that kick in the pants (with such gentleness)that made you truly consider your perspective and think about whether you were approaching a problem from the wrong angle. Thanks so much for your wisdom, and for blessing us all with your kindness and friendship, for everyone who knew you considers you a friend.

After a baby is born, it has no real concept of an individual self for up to 1 year (at times even longer). It merely perceives itself as an extention of, and part of, the mother. There truly is nothing like a mother. I miss her with all of my being, and I always will. No words can express it, but this was my attempt to do so.
I would like to thank all of her Antioch family for these kind words and deeds. I know that if she were to read this then she would probably say, "I was just being who I'm supposed to be".

Sista,Sista,
When first we met, there was an instant connection, Sistas sharing and giving without thought or question. Boldly you revealed to me, God's grace and mercy had set you free. Without fear or doubt you journeyed ahead, pausing only for a cool drink from the fountainhead. Oh yeah, quenching your spirit!
You have left this place for another, to be in the presence of our Big Brother. To Him I'm sure you'll have much to say, but try not to say it all in one day. And while you're flitting around with your new wings, don't say to the Angels “just one more thing”.
I will think of you often and miss you much. Too bad we can't write to keep in touch. So rest a while, walk the Golden Streets and just be at peace at the Savior's feet. I will miss you my friend.
Till we meet again --

I was sad to hear that Lynne has passed away. She has been an inspiration to us all. I took many courses with her at Antioch University Midwest and admired her for her determination, perseverance, and hard work. She was such a strong but a kind woman of dignity. I truly will miss her and her stories that came from her life experiences.
Lynne, rest in peace and eternal love…

From the moment we met that first day of Spring semester, I knew Lynne was a special lady. We had the best conversations at our table every Saturday! Her wisdom and experience were second to none and I will sincerely miss seeing her beaming smile in class. You were one of a kind, Lynne.

It is with great sadness that I write this. Lynne was an inspiration to me at Antioch University Midwest. I knew that if I was down I could talk to her and learn from her life experiences.
I feel honored that I had the privilage to attend many of my classes with her these past couple years. She was always positive, upbeat, and funny. I doubt there is anyone on Earth that has a kinder heart than she.
The world will never be the same without her. God has gained the beautiful angel we lost.
I am so happy that I had the honor of calling you friend, Lynne.

My dear Lynne, I will miss you, my friend! Your sweet smile and spunkiness and the way you made others feel so special! I will think of you fondly at Antioch. The halls will feel empty, but when I think of you, I will smile! I am better having known you!
