Cary Family-I had the great pleasure of getting to know Mitch first through our Leadership Dayton class. To say he was a great guy and class act would be an understatement, but you know that. I am so saddened by your loss and the loss all of us who called Mitch a friend feel today. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and just know that Mitch will be greatly missed by his many friends and by the community.

You have my deepest condolences. I worked with Mitch at the 4950TW. He was one of the good guys. He was easy to talk to and I learned a great a lot from him. He will be missed.

Cary Family-
I had the privilege of getting to know Mitch through our Leadership Dayton Class in 2001. Our classmates are all in shock as he truly was so dear to us all. Comments from our group have ranged from "he was just a first class guy" to "I always looked forward to seeing him the most at our class gatherings" to "last time I saw him he was just messing around in the hangar".
Personally I admired him greatly and was so in awe of all that he knew and all he had done! Plus he was simply a joy to be around.
Mitch hosted a gathering for us once at the hangar and I am so lucky to have won the "raffle" that day which was a ride on the Wright B with him. What a memory, and what a man.
May God Bless and keep you all during this difficult time--

To the Cary Family,
Mitch was a true inspiration to us in the Air Force Propulsion community and he will be truly missed. He mentored our young employees and showed boundless integrity. Among his peers, Mitch was known to fight for decency and honor in everything we do. I am humbled to have worked with him, laughed with him, and learned from him how to uphold my own values in this sometimes crazy business. Thank you for sharing him with us.

Judy and Family, Iam sorry for your loss. I got to know Mitch when he started keeping his J-3 Cub at our airstrip {Victory Strip} I use to love watching him fly his cub. I loved to sit and listen to him tell his funny stories, which only Mitch could do! You and your family are in my prayers and thoughts, through this difficult time. Sincerely Mara Cochran

Please accept my condolences. I am a member of a large community interested in Wright Flyers. We are sad that we have lost such a dedicated leader in the quest to conquer the skies.
