God Bless you Piney Brown....you`ll be missed. Enjoyed the times we worked together...especially the King tribute show at the `07 Cincinnati bluesfest. I hope I have your energy for the rest of my life.
See you down the road.....

Mr. Brown, I am glad I visited you last week. We laughed about the early days when my Momma had to send a permission note with you, so you could take me on the road. Sometimes you had to use it in Dayton to get me into clubs to play guitar for you. We had some great road trips, and even local gigs in the past couple years. Condolences to Pam and your daughter. You will find a blues band to back you up in Heaven.

I had the privilage of hearing Piney Brown just one time at Goodfellas on Col. Glenn Highway just a few years ago. It was a great night by a great performer. My prayers to those that were close to him.

I remember Piney Brown from King Records years ago when I worked at James Brown Productions located at King, his music was incomprable, he also helped a friend of mine out here in Dayton with her singing career, Ms. Sutton spoke highly of him.
May God strengthen his loved ones during this hour of grief.
