I met him only a few times but he left a solid impression. I will be thinking about him tonight as Miami tackles NW.

I will miss Coach Walker greatly. he provided us all with some of the best moments of college. My prayers go out to his family

My deepest sympathies to the Walker family on the death of Coach Randy Walker. His all too early death, saddens us all.

Coach Walker always had a kind word for me when I spoke to him. Any football related question I had for him, was always quickly answered, no matter how busy he was.

His legacy will be carried on by the young men that he coached and mentored at Miami of Ohio University and Northwestern University.
