News Death Notice
ZELL, Robert L. age 90 of West Carrollton, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born January 3, 1922 in Miamisburg, the son of the late Luke M. & Nannie V. (Lee) Zell. Mr. Zell was retired from Dayton Power & Light and was a member of the Moraine Eagles & V.F.W. #3438. Preceded in death by his wife Ruby Zell, 2 daughters Gloria Rosa Zell and Nancy R. Hall, 2 grandchildren Mark Caupp, Shannon Leet, 2 sisters and 2 sons-in-law Sonny Williams & Bobby Hall. He is survived by 2 daughters Carolyn Williams, Robyn Derksen and husband Byron all of Moraine, 6 grandchildren Tony Corson, Shane Caupp, Rick Corson, Tracie Zell, Cody Hall and Angel Derksen, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Robert loved his family and put family and friends before himself. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the Moraine Eagles #3925. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in his memory. Arrangements entrusted to the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton. www.swartandwolfefuneralhome.com.
