Just learned of Vince's passing. I did not know him personally but followed him for years being a saxophonist myself. I am so sorry for your loss. I know that he is with the Lord playing the beautiful sounds of heaven.

Thank you to Karen L. Zack for keeping this page 'alive'. I can't wait to hear Vince playing his sax at the pearly gates; what a glorious day that will be!

What a true gift from God to the body of Christ as well as the ministry of worship ,jazz and the world of music.A true definition of Father,Husband,Brother,Teacher and Friend. His life and music was a blessing to me while I lived in the city of Columbus he will be greatly missed. And to the family we are praying for you now and for days to come that while you are going through you will allow God's holy spirit to comfort you and guide you when the tuff days come along yours in Christ Pastor George Mosby.

I just heard about Vince passing and it is truly a great loss for everyone who ever knew Vince or who has a love for music. Vince was one of the most gifted and anointed musicians I have ever heard. I had the priviledge of playing on the platform with Vince at World Harvest Church and playing organ with him at one of the Columbus Festivals downtown. Vince not only shared his vast musical experience with other musicians but he also shared his wonderful intellectual, down to earth sense of humour. Vince loved the Lord and His Word. I will miss Vince but never forget him. See you at the Gathering Vince.

No one played the sax like Vince! He played from his spirit and allowed the Holy Spirit to speak through his sax! He was a great instructor and friend. So sorry to hear of your homegoing. . . but we shall meet again! Love you Scruffy!!!! . . lol

I just learned of Vince's passing as I read the Capital Alumni magazine, and am so saddened. Vince and I were students at Capital togethe,; back in the early days of the jazz program (Class of 1977). He was an extremely gifted musician and wonderful person. I look forward to hearing him play again...at the pearly gates. God's peace to his family and friends.

I am sorry for your loss. Vince encouraged me to get my music out there back in the 90's at World Harvest Church.
His playing moved me and was anointed. He definitely shaped my talent to and for the better. He was kind to me and took time to encourage me.
God Bless your family! You will be in our prayers! Thanks for this gift to the world!
