To the family and friends of Cpl. Dean P. Pratt:
Always remembering Dean. "Some gave all."
May 28, 2012
Sending thoughts and prayers to a hero's family and friends this Memorial Day. I was a 2/1 Marine mom for two deployments and it is special to find a Marine with both a Montana and a Chico connection. In Chico you may have run into the Sagastume family. Nanette is my dear Marine mom email friend and the author of "We Also Serve," the story of two generations of a 2/1 Marine family, from Vietnam through Fallujah in 2004. I know she just did a book signing at the Chico Barnes and Noble.
May you all be blessed with healing and peace and your wonderful memories.

Thank You Peggy. It warms my heart to know Dean is still remembered by so many. We love you brother and miss you very much. Hope you're up there fishing and playing cards.

Thank you so much for your service to this country. We are sad for your loss and hope you know that we will never forget you. You served in honor and in grace to protect our great country. May you find peace and comfort. Thank-you so much for my freedom.
