My sincere sympathy to the family. George and my father, Bob Kamrath, were good friends. They loved playing tennis, as well as hunting and fishing with the guys. Daddy thought so much of him.

Sending much love and peace to GPM family. He was an amazing man regardless the case.

We spent our 2012 Christmas dinner at the San Luis. Of course, lovely as always...so many memories of George, Cynthia, Johnny and Allie and families remain with us......Certainly we love and cherish our visits to everything known to man he and his family have done and refurbished for/on Galveston Island. In December 2012 I had great visit with Elana/owner of the Kite Shop on the seawall. Her father visited weekly with George and friends. This did our hearts good. I am happy to know GPM spent his last days at the Tremont. Pure beauty. Bless his sweet heart. Each member of his family remain in our hearts and our prayers.

God bless. Grace and Peace.

So sorry for this loss. My last encounter with Mr. Mitchell was in Galveston this year at Mardi Gras in Galveston. He hosted a wonderful Texas themed party. He sat at our table and said" this is a hell of a party". He thoroughly enjoyed himself as well as my husband and I enjoyed him

May he rest in peace. My prayers, deepest sympathy and sincere condolences go out to his family and all who knew and loved this great man.

I wish I could have known Mr. Mitchell and had the opportunity to personally express to him my gratitude for all of his innovative work in the oil & gas industry in Texas and elsewhere. Not just for my own pennies from Heaven, but for everything from which our whole country has now greatly benefitted.

God willing and the wells keep pumping. And thank you, George P. Mitchell.

I offer my sincere condolences to the family of this wonderful man. I had the privilege to know and work for Mr. Mitchell years ago when The Woodlands was only a vision. Mr. Mitchell was the most brilliant, genuine and compassionate person that I have ever known. To my life he has been a positive influence and a true inspiration. I shall forever remember him and hold him with utmost respect.
May God Bless
