My Father always had a way of making the time that had passed seem like mere moments and that all that matter was now. As a child I felt he was the biggest and strongest man in the world. His hands were the biggest I still had ever seen and he always said that's why his hugs were the best around. The guidance he gave me about what life was really about is how I've tried to live me life. He said to me to be good to my family and if they were friends that made them family. He told me not to judge and to help others in need that being there for others was the real reason were all hear anyway. He told me to slow down and try not rush that I'd enjoy life so much more. He was so right and thou I'm devastated I'll not hear his comforting words and share in his awesome bear hugs. I can now feel him all around me, I know my dad's health was bad. I upset He never spoke to me about it but I grateful his pain is over. I will cherish the time I did have and will forever be thankful for the gift of speaking with him before he left this World. Thank you so much Amber I love you and thank you so much Dad for that priceless gift. Thank you to Aunt Dianna for all your doing and to everyone for the well wishes and wonderful stories. I know my Dad was a good man but hearing so much from so many fills me with such a pride and honor for being his Daughter. xoxoxoxoxoxooxoxoxoxoxo

Since a little girl, I would just sit in his lap. I say "since" because I still do! He always had something to bring us girls. He always made sure we had when he was around. He was a quite man. Don't get me wrong, he told some stories, was very adventurous, and would whoop your tail for messing with any of his family....... Other than all those fishing trips, my fondest memory as a young girl was when he came to granny's and took me, my sisters and cousins to town. We walked everywhere back then. He let us pick out any kind of candy we wanted. We all got to choose. But what happened next still resides with me today. We stole a store buggy. There was a steep hill up from the store. He used that buggy to push us down that hill....And LET IT GO! We were wrecking all over the place. It was late, and we were for sure waking everybody on our trek back to granny's up. All RIDDLE's are loud. .....nobody got hurt if my memory serves me right, but by all accounts we should have all died playing "free buggy rides"...........He was a spitn image of my daddy. Since my daddy passed away, he knew us girls was hurting. He would just give us the biggest hugs and put us on his knees. He always had room for us on his knee. My big ole Uncle a Larry has been a saving grace for me. My teddy bear and man of steel, I love you Uncle Larry. Thank you for being a stepping stone in my life............
