My son and his friend, altar serving this morning at ICC, were talking about the death of Fr. Joe's 7 year old nephew. I just had to come find the story. I'm not sure if we ever met Bryan, but I'm SURE we've heard of him in one of Fr. Joe's “Stories from the pulpit” at ICC ? He certainly spoke of his niece and her family a lot - so I'm sure a story of this smiling, happy, adorable grand nephew of his, with the quick wit and knowledge well beyond his 7 years was told. Tales of his grand nephew always made everybody smile. I can see why. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. As a parent of a young boy myself, I cannot even imagine the pain your family must be going through, but as Fr. Joe and others alluded to in their messages, God just needed another angel and took him when needed; In God's Time… not ours.

"Let God gather to Himself whatever He has planted in His garden for He takes nothing out of season."
St. Francis de Sales

Indeed ! You just HAVE to believe that in order to process this tragedy. Will keep your family lifted in prayer. Fr. Joe & The Kosc family, our sincerest sympathy.
Natalie & Benedict (Parishioners & student at Immaculate Conception Church/School in Elkton, who have heard, and miss, the stories :)
