Stephen A. D'Amico, 77, of Middletown, Delaware, and formerly of Oakdale, New York, passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, March 20, 2014.
A memorial Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 371 E. Main Street in Middletown, Delaware, where friends may visit with the family a half-hour prior. A reception will follow at Steve's home in Springmill.
In lieu of flowers, Steve's family suggests contributions be made to Brother Alexander Walsh, Amanacer Street Kids Program, c/o Maryknoll Fathers & Brothers, P.O. Box 305, Maryknoll, NY 10545-0305.

Long ago I was a friend of Mr. D'Amico's daughter MaryEllen -- and while I met him only a couple times -- I remember his fun generous sense of humor. My sympathies and warm regards to MaryEllen, and the family.
