I was a patient of Dr Jays for 21 years. He was amazing. He was great to my entire family. I recently had more ortho surgery for my hip dysplasia and my husband was looking for a way to email him to let him know how well I'm doing and we were heartbroken to discover his passing. He will truly be missed.

I was just talking about Dr. Jay with my mom the other day. I first met him when I was 11 years old at DuPont hospital because I had scoliosis. He performed spinal fusion surgery on me when I was 16. He just had this incredible presence about him that made me so comfortable. I saw him every 3-6 months from the time I was 11 until I was 18. The day of my surgery I was so nervous, but the moment he walked into the room , my nerves relaxed and I smiled because I knew I was in good hands. My mom and I spoke of how incredible he was just the other day, so I looked him up. I'm sorry for the family's loss. He not only was an amazing doctor, but a kind and humble human being. I am 29 now and never have I met a doctor as warm and caring as Doctor J!! I' m sure he is missed by many.

Dr. Jay was a truly, truly special doctor. I am 32 and saw him til I was 18. If I could have remained a patient of his, I would have. I've had many doctors in my time, but he was truly one of a kind. He was the best of the best! He won't be forgotten.

Our son Jack was a patient of Dr. Jay's and we are so heartbroken to hear of his passing. We are so grateful for everything that he did for Jack. He will always have a special place in our hearts. The fact that Jack runs, play sports and no one even knows he's a bilateral amputee is a testament of your greatness. Thank you

What can I say about a man who reached into my body 20 plus times in my childhood. All I have is to say thank you to him and to God for allowing him to be my doctor. He also reached into my heart as a little kid dealing with growing up with arthrogryposis he was very caring and inspired me to never give up. Thank you Dr. Jay for giving your life to help others. You will inspire my whole life....
