I was a brazilian international fellow at duPont Institute rom Brazil and there I learnt to admire and respect the teacher and the person of Dr. Jay. When my parents visit me there he kindly invite us for a nice dinner. It was a 22 years ago but I will never forget the professor and the friend Dr. Jay.

I worked with Dr. Jay for many years, he was a brilliant surgeon as well as a wonderful and kind man. He will be missed by all his colleagues that trained and worked beside him at AI Dupont Hospital.

Our son Jack was a patient of Dr. Jay's and we are so heartbroken to hear of his passing. We are so grateful for everything that he did for Jack. He will always have a special place in our hearts. The fact that Jack runs, play sports and no one even knows he's a bilateral amputee is a testament of your greatness. Thank you
