Sr. Jane was my favorite teacher, she made my years at the Academy of Notre Dame better. I will always remember her many quotes, "you lie like a rug, 40 lashes with a wet noodle, & more pay less jaw". I saw her at Carroll's graduation 15 years after I graduated and she not only remembered me she remembered how I use to where a "thingy" as she called on my face. She will truly be missed.

Sr. Jane has a special place in my heart and is definitely part of my fond memories of NDA in homeroom and math. 40 lashes with a wet noodle, indeed. RIP

I was never fond of Math until I had Sr. Jane at Academy of Notre Dame. If you needed help you could go to her at anytime of the day. Sr. Jane made you open up your mind and think. Thank you for all the wonderful memories and thank you for sharing your gifts. May you rest in peace Sr. Jane.

Thank you Sister Jane for your teachings and your love in math to me who hates math. You made me appreciate the subject and I learned so much from you. I just thought about you the other day and now I saw this. <3 you!!

Sister Jane was an excellent teacher and saw more math potential in me than I had myself. As a teacher I find myself quoting her, "More paw, less jaw." Thank you for your contributions to us while we were at NDA and Rest in Paradise.- Class of '87

You left such an impact on me and my life. Your infamous quotes are often remembered by so many of my peers from Archbishop Carroll. "More paw, less jaw. Never store your rhubarb in tin can,". Or your threats of 30 lashes with a wet noodle." LOVE YOU SR. JANE. May Heaven rejoice for the angel it has just received.
