When you mentioned Frank Beecher's name the immediate response was always "what a great guy". I had the pleasure of working with Frank at The shipyard and being good friends with him outside of work Frank always created a harmonious atmosphere around him wherever he was. Frank was always quietly taking care of his many friends never looking for recognition of the many good deeds he did, just enjoying doing them. He will be missed by many, and I will make sure when the pipe fitters get together we will always raise a toast in his honor. Rest in peace my good friend

May Frank rest in peace. He will be missed by all who knew him.

I offer my condolences and sympathy to Frank's son and family on their loss of a loving father and all around great compassionate man. I feel very fortunate to have known him and call him a good friend. I worked with Frank many years ago at the Philly Navy Yard and recently as on call couriers at Alpha Analytical. I will always remember Frank as caring, strong, helpful and a person with class. He would never hesitate to get involved with a situation that he could help resolve or add support offering his time and/or advice. Frank would always stay in touch over the years since the late 1970's and I am very grateful for that. I will miss his presence and phone calls and I hope his family is consoled knowing he is in a good place silently watching over them. May he rest in peace!

I met Frank in the Navy Yard over 30 years ago and just shared lunch with him and some other guys from the yard over the holidays. As always it was a pleasure to see him. I enjoyed his dry sense of humor and his demeanor was always the same even keeled. Frank also possessed a quality that is so lacking in the world we live in today, humility, I will miss him!
