It's been a year and it still seems like yesterday.
Still missing you.
A candle for you. Not a day goes by that I don't remember you.
Poppop I've been sitting here remembering you. How you always sat in your favorite chair recording everything on your New VCR including days of the live aid concert(which u probably never watched again LOL) how you always rented me the last unicorn movie over n over again cause it was n arm n a leg to buy it back then. The abundance of cash registers around our house n how I loved to play with them. you always brought me home sweda paper to draw on with the little rainbow on it. Your red truck that I always used to ride in the back of, back when the police didn't pull you over for that sort of thing. Calling you at the gun shop to bring home kfc, how u loved to sit n watch the Benny hill show n would just laugh, our trip to Florida after grandmom passed n u listening to ur big band jazz music driving me crazy. On the mountain & in the caves & how we took the picture where u looked like u were stuck between the rocks. You even gave me money to get my soph hop dance dress. While you were there raising me, you have inspired me in so many ways. These things we dont start to realize until we are older. Im thankful that I had you in my life. I regret all the time we have had apart but I've always loved you & I always will. Ill never EVER forget you!!! Love you poppop.
Please be sure to spend some time with my mom and give her a hug for me. I'll never forget you or the peanut butter cups you never seemed to forget! Rest easy!

My dear Father-in-Law and Friend,
I will miss you more than words could ever say.
God Bless You Joe,
I will always remember the great times we enjoyed.
Joe was one of those guys you thought would be here forever. A gentleman at all times with a big smile to share and a kind word for everyone. Several times we'd swap lies about our time in the Air Force and have a good laugh about it.
My deepest thanks to Pat for taking such good care of my good friend.
My thoughts are with you.
