Bill Duffy was one of those memorable folks we meet along the way. Gifted in many ways...socially, spiritually,a capacity to overcome obstacles w a smile and good story. And he had so many. He was a GIVER. Mechanically he had few peers, his skills developed over years thru many life experiences.
As a young Production supervisor at Merck I listened when he shared, explained and taught..I marveled at his energy, coveted his ability to handle stress....He saw good in all around him and maxed every opportunity.
He lived life to the max, was a treasure in my work life and is/will be remembered by many.
MR DUFFY God needs you and I'll miss you

TO THE DUFFY FAMILY:
Please accept my condolences for your loss. I was fortunate to work with Bill in the Maintenance Department for over 10 years at Merck. Bill was a very reliable supervisor and a good friend to me. He always took time to share his knowledge and experience. He had a brilliant mind and a warm personality. I will miss him very much.
To the Duffy Family: My sympathies to the whole family. I have known Bill and Marie all my life since I am Marie Augustine France's daughter, Pat. My Mother, Marie, was Marie Duffy's Aunt. I remember my Uncle Andy (Marie Duffy's father) saying to me that he thought very highly of
Bill and thought Marie had married the right guy!
Love you all and I will keep you in my prayers, Cousin Pat

To the Duffy family,
I had the pleasure of working with Bill. I was on third, then first shift for 7 seven years with him in maintenance at MSD. Bill was always helpful and taught me many things. I know now the power will never go out in heaven.
May God Bless
To the Duffy Family,
I had the pleasure of working with Bill on 2nd Shift in Building 38 at MSD. I was a supervisor in the Printing Department and often needed help with maintenance issues from Bill's team. I grew up in Broomall and Bill and I would share stories from Delco. I was a young and inexperienced supervisor who didn't have a clue, and like so many before me, Bill showed me the way. I remember his quiet pleasant manner and gentle sense of humor...and this was almost 30 years ago. I never forgot him, and never will. I was blessed to have known him. An absolute ace of a guy. God Bless you. Sincerely, Carl Blankemeyer
