I cannot express the sadness of losing such a wonderful lifelong friend and brother to the Kirkland family. I am encouraged, though to know that Rev. Anzer Kirkland has received the reward that we all seek. God bless him and God bless his family

To the Kirkland Family, my prayers and deepest sympathy go out to you all. My heart aches at the lost of my friend, teacher, mentor, and father figure. I cried uncontrollably when I got the news of his passing. It was after the CFACE annual recital that we last spoke and I would have never thought that I would never see or speak to him again. But I thank and praise God that He gave me the opportunity to know Mr. Kirkland the way I did. I will never forget him and will hold his memory dear to my heart.

To The Kirkland Family.....

I just want express my condolences to all of you in the passing of my friend and fellow Cheyney alum. We sang in the college choir together and we both majored in music. He was a gifted musician, but even moreso, he was a child of God. My prayers are with you all.

I am just blown away. I am just finding out through facebook that my friend has passed today (9/16/12). I cannot believe this!!!!! We go back so many years and I just want to express my deepest sympathy to the family on our loss. He will always be remembered for so many things. So --- many memories! The family is in my prayers. God never makes mistakes.
