I never got to hear Kitty sing, but I remember my father saying she sang a lot when she was young and sounded like Jo Stafford, which was very high praise indeed.

I loved my Aunt Kitty. She was my Father's cousin and I know he loved her very much, too. They were very close. She was always kind, thoughtful, caring, funny, and warm. I have only wonderful memories of her. It was fun and exotic to walk downtown to the Provident bank in Swarthmore when I was a child to see her at work as a teller. I looked forward to and loved getting annual birthday and holiday cards from her, wherever I lived over the years. She was loved and will be missed by many. My condolences to Brenda. I know that my sister Tris, brother Billy and our cousin Kim all loved Kitty very much.

I still talk about how Aunt Kitty drove my Mom, Dad and I to Wildwood for weekend vacations in the summer. We had no car and she always took us or we would have had no vacation. What a wonderful Lady that I knew thru the years, especially when I was younger. Always friendly and gracious.

I had the pleasure of working with Kitty at Provident National Bank. She was one of the kindest, nicest ladies to know. RIP Kitty.
