I met Dick when I was a teenager, playing tennis at Interboro High School and eventually Glenolden Park. He was an excellent player, and I enjoyed learning from him. I was always happy when the coin toss designated him as my partner! He was a kind gentleman.

My fondest memories of Uncle Dick are of our Sunday morning racquetball and tennis matches back in the early 1980s, and coffee and donuts with him at Dunkin Donuts afterwards. He was the realtor on the purchase of our first home in Drexel Hill back in 1980, when it was tough for young couples to buy a home with 13-15% interest rates. I loved his devilish charm and his banter with Aunt Emma. If there's a heaven, Uncle Dick is there back on a tennis court with his younger legs chasing down every volley hit his way! R.I.P.
