I missed this one during the busy summer. Brian was a classmate and friend all through Marshall High. John Geisler told me the news at the Lake Concert last evening. To his family I send my sincere sympathy from all of the Class of 1960. Rest in peace old pal.

I am heartbroken to hear about this loss! Coach T was one of my favorite people. His smile brightened the world of everyone in his path. I will forever hear his voice shouting from the sidelines of the Apollo soccer field, or echoing in the bleachers of GBA b-ball games, like it was yesterday. Im so glad our paths crossed again over 15 yrs later & we had the chance the reminisce about those fond memories, & I was able to tell you the impression you made on my 13 yr old self. Our countless conversations over the last 6 yrs will be just as cherished!
Rest in Peace kind soul...
Love,
Randy

Brian was one of my security guards when I went to Apollo Middle School back in 1998-2000. Had the most contagious laugh and was overall great guy. Whenever I was getting harrassed in the hallway by bullies, he was always there escorting them to the principles office with a "Ok tough guys come with me". In a way now that I'm realizing, he was another version of Jesse Ventura because he had that type of voice.

I'm going to miss you Mr. Tunney. You were great to me and I'm sorry that I am finding out so late

Guard heavens gates.
