I came across this obituary by accident. My late and sincere condolences to Barbara and family. As secretary to Henry Pfendt (almost 40 years ago at Kodak Australasia) I had the privilege of meeting and working with some very special people. Frank was certainly one of them. A kind and friendly man, respected by all. My thoughts are with you at this sad time.

Barbara, we just learned of Frank's passing and express our sincere condolences. We are reminded of Frank's counsel and kindness when we were on assignment in Australia.

Dear Barb and family,

My heart goes out to you and please know that you are in my prayers. By pure happenstance , I learned of Frank's passing today while searching the internet.

Frank and I had a very nice telephone conversation just a few months ago when I called to give him the status on several of our fraternity brothers. I had no idea that Frank also was dealing with great challenges.

Frank and I first met on the Dartmouth Freshman Hike in September of 1952 , and our friendship continued over the years . We were fraternity brothers , classmates , shared some courses at Tuck School , continued keeping in touch when I was stationed at Niagara Falls A.F.B. as you know , and also recontacted when I worked for Kodak many years ago , as well as when I was a national officer in our photo trade association , and when we visited with you both at our college reunions.
Frank was a wonderful and friendly man and it has been a pleasure for me to know him and you.

I will let some of our Dartmouth classmates know that he has passed , and I will write a personal letter of condolence to you in the near future.

Frank was a great friend and mentor during the time spent with him at Kodak. I really treasure the help he gave me during my career.
