Commander Powell, I shall never forget our times in the Navy. I always looked up to and admired you. You were a perfect " officer and gentleman ". I know the Lord is smiling with you. I want to wish you " fair winds and following seas in heaven "

Master Chief James Paxon, USN Ret.

Saddened to hear of this
passing. I was a little girl
when my late dad used to talk about Commander Powell all the time (Maury brodsky) and I was impressed with the name
comander !!! Your parents were frequent guests at our home in Irondequoit. Sad to lose
family .. but they do live on
in our hearts forever. so sorry for your lost

Jeff and Family,

Kathy and I are very sorry to hear of your fathers passing. He was like a second father to me for many years. Always kind and willing to go out of this way to help others. He will be missed even though I have not seen him in years.
