You were a kind hearted girl who always put others first. You took critical words with a grain of salt. You shaped yourself into the amazing person that you were. Wishing you peace Lacey. You will never be forgotten.

It's been years since I've seen Lacey and all I can say is I hope she knew how important she was to all of us. She was my very best friend at an age when I was awkward and unsure of myself and she gave me nothing but support and encouragement. I would not be who I am today without her friendship. I don't remember why we grew apart but I was blessed to have her in my life. She was a kind loving and selfless person. Just the thought of her makes me smile.

To Lacey's parents, I just want to say how sorry I am to hear of your loss. It's been a long time since I saw Lacey, but she still looks the same in her pictures, only older. I had the pleasure of being her daycare provider for her first year & a half. She was so cute & smart & pleasant. I hated to leave her behind when we moved to Champaign, but of course, it was necessary. I have so often wondered about her & her brother Josh, who I watched as well. How they were & what they had become. I never expected to hear she had died. May she rest in peace, & may you find peace in her passing, as well.
