Dear Barlow cousins,

So sorry to hear of Marietta's passing. I have spoken with her several times over the past 20 yrs.
regarding our history of the Cummings family. I am Diane Ferguson DeVore, the granddaughter of Maxwell Cummings, ( one of the 5 Cummings brothers) I think that makes us 3rd cousins. Marietta told me some wonderful stories about the old days with the Pharmacy delivery wagon in Castile.
She also knew Grandpa Max, and my Grandmother Clarice Boddy Cummings.
I know she had a good, happy life and I cherish her memory.
I'll be with you in spirit at the service on July 28th.
Sincerely,
Diane F. DeVore, and family

Dr. Jerry, My condolences, from Mississippi. I worked with your Father, Frank at Roberts Drug Store in Perry. We may have met once. Anyway. I knew your mother & father, they were friends, (not real close) to my father & mother, Paul & Ethel Byrnes from Nunda) 'Pharmacist'. I very much enjoyed your parents, at gatherings from time to time. And of course your father, What pride they had in you, as you talked your way into Medical School. Jim Byrnes, from Nunda, and now in MS.
