Sorry to read this news about Mike. I knew he was ill, but thought he was beating it. His Facebook posts were always full of hope as he updated his hospital visits and doctor prescriptions. I thought he was getting better.

We were in Arcadia High School together. He was a true character. There was no one like him.

Mike's over-sized spirit could inspire a revolution -- or a party. Or a party at a revolution. A most unique and unusual man who was old before his time, older in experience than all of us when we first met. He was out-sized in his appetite for life, in energy, in explosive laughter.

A most unique person. Never to be reprised. Never to be forgotten.

Sorry to hear of Mike's passing! I remember him from high school as an easy going, friendly guy. May fond memories help to console you...Mary Anne Beyer-Tweed, Greece Arcadia class of 1969.
