I've known you my whole life. You came to the hospital the day I was born, and from that point on, you were always in my life. My senior year in high school you were my mentor for my senior project. When I joined the army you wished me luck and said I could kick as much butt as the boys could. I am so greatful to have had you in my life. You were like a second dad to me as well as all the other guys in the fire department. I'm out of the army and coming home in two weeks, it's not going to be the same without seeing you at the firehouse. I miss you, I will never forget you.
