Survived by his children, Terri (Steve) Riggs, Joseph Doherty Jr., Paula Grassl; step-daughters, Barbara Plack, Sandra (Peter) Sylvester, Cynthia Kretchmer; brother in law, Richard Dumont; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 4-7 pm Friday, August 4th at the funeral home 15 West Ave. Spencerport. His Funeral Service will be at St. Joseph's Church, 6105 Rush Lima Rd at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 5. Interment, Pine Hill Cemetery. Those wishing to donate in lieu of flowers may do so to Saint Marianne Cope Parish in Joseph's memory.
