Jeremy, Kyle, Samantha and I have been next door neighbors to Bob and Carol for many years now. We've spent many hours "across the fence" discussing Life, Shakespeare and Italy! Listening to stories of Bob's life confirmed the fact that this was one incredible man who grabbed all the gusto he could from any adventure! His presence and stories will be missed for many years!Friend, we will miss you!

I enjoyed ever moment at Daemen College and I enjoyed speaking to Dr. Marshall. We would often speak about boxing because he was fond of the sport which was evident in how he carried himself, he was a classy man. I will miss you dearly.

To the Marshall Family-
Dr. Marshall was a gifted man with great courage. As his director of public affairs at Daemen for 12 years, I learned from his brilliance, vision and strength. He helped save Daemen College during impossible financial times. He was a tremendous fighter. Bob was a wonderful role model for young people. He will be missed a great deal.
Sincerely,
Brian D. Rusk

Bob Marshall hired me in 1988 and no one told me I was supposed to be intimidated by the tall, elegant and forceful president. So I wasn't, and found him to have considerable interest and expertise in many subjects and a wry sense of humor. I still remember his kindness the day he took my 16 year old son up in one of his WWII planes and started in Nick an interest in the history of his grandfathers' war that lasts today. I hope Bob's soul is soaring. My sincere condolences to the family that has lost him.
