I will miss Aunt Doris and Uncle Sam. They will forever be in my heart.

David, Lynn, and Jeff, As young children we were neighbors with just the field between our houses. Many summers of fun are remembered, but mostly, your mom and dad. You guys had the best parents in the neighborhood who loved and welcomed all of us kids. Your family had been blessed and the Lord now has a beautiful couple in His home. With love and prayers, Linda

Dear Jeff, Lynn, and David,
I am so very sorry for the loss of both your parents in such a short time. I can only begin to imagine the pain and loss you must all be feeling. I had the pleasure of overseeing your mom's care at Kirkhaven and, while her time spent with us was brief, she left her imprint on our hearts. A gentle, sweet, funny, and witty lady. Your father visited as often as he could with your help, and it was so clear how much he loved your mom. I want to say what a wonderful family you all are...so devoted to your parents, never missing a day of visiting and actively demonstrating your deep love and concern for their well-being. Thank you for sharing your mother with us and entrusting us with her care. It was an honor and a privalege caring for her and getting to know you all. She will be missed. May you all find comfort in the knowledge that your parents will walk hand in hand for eternity and will now be able to watch over you all from the heavens as they did here on earth. Their love was so strong that even death could not keep them apart. What a beautiful love story! God bless you all!
