Yockel, William J. (Bill)
Eustis, FL: Age 82, passed away in his home peacefully in Eustis, Florida surrounded by his children on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. He was born August 13, 1934 in Hilton, New York. Predeceased by his parents Willard & Dorothy (Haitz) Yockel also of Hilton. He is survived by his 4 children David (Victoria) Yockel, Ann Carpenter (Evan), Terri Yockel & Marc (Darlene) Yockel, 7 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, cousins Marilyn Mccann and Bishop Jon Bruno of Los Angeles. Bill was a graduate of Spencerport High School. He retired after 31 years at Eastman Kodak. After retirement, Bill moved to Eustis and was an avid Bridge player. He was a Gold Life Master Bridge player and directed the local Bridge Club in Eustis for many years, along with being an usher at St. Thomas Church. Not only a loving father & grandfather, he was a warm and generous person to all who knew him, truly a Man of MANY friends. Heaven is certainly in for a treat. A service in Hilton will be held on Aug. 13th at 1:00 at St. George's Episcopal church. He will be laid to rest at Parma Union Cemetery in Hilton, NY beside his parents following the service. There will be an additional service in Eustis. Fl. at a later date. Donations can be made to Hospice Care, Eustis Florida.
