I am so sorry for your loss. I was not aware that Dori had passed away. She was such a fun and caring person. Penny Ann Carlisle

"Hi darling, what's the scoop?", is just one of the loving memories I have of my Auntie Dory. It's the greeting I expected every time I saw her. Auntie loved being "in the know" with us girls' secrets. The thing is, what we thought was some juicy scoop, always turned out to be info she already knew. I loved my Auntie for her fun side and off the wall humor. We shared so many laughs through the years, including an antique shopping trip where she fashionably "modeled" my feather hat treasure and wore it "gracefully" until it was time for me to pay. Another top memory includes my sister and I staying with her for the weekend when we were kids. She taught us how to make grilled cheese with bean and bacon soup. Delicious yes, but what came after was the highlight of our visit. We indulged in Bon Bon ice cream treats in her bed, while watching TV and doing our nails (which she always had perfectly painted). It's a moment my sister and I still talk about to this day and definitely a meal we still enjoy. Holidays, brunches, lunches, dinners, birthdays and a "Montezuma Revenge" cruise together all bring me comforting thoughts during this sad time. It is these and countless other memories of my Auntie Dory, that will always keep her close to my heart and never forgotten. Sending Peace, Love and Hugs to All.

Jim & Family,

So sorry for your loss. I was just thinking about Dorilyn the other day. I bought a glass juice thingy to squeeze out lemons when she had a garage sale years ago. I was remembering what a hoot she was! I can still see her twinkly eyes and how she loved to laugh. She was always looking for fun, and I know my mom and dad (Robin & Jon Farry) had lots of fun with you guys "back in the day". She had such a sparkly personality, and I know you will miss her. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
