We may have not known each other very well while attending LHS but I just wanted to say thanks for doing such a heroic act when many would run away from the danger. You are an inspiration to the good of mankind.

I worked with Jesse at Schriever, he was on orders to help get all the computers up in the new 310 SW bldg. I'm a recruiter who works there and always asked he to fix my problems, he always did, he was a hard worker! While he was fixing my stuff I would always talk to him about how things were going on with him, we talked about his past in the Army, because I used to be Army too, and what was going on in his future. I know he was taking a break from school and was looking at all kinds of things for later on after he got off his orders. Jesse was a really nice guy, quiet and very friendly, he would always do what he could for anyone. My heart goes out to his family and his close friends, I know he will be missed! I just found out about this tonight from my wife and I was shocked, it hit hard, I'm still dumbfounded thinking about it.
We are so sorry for your loss. We can feel your sorrow and our hearts are broken. The Word of God says..." I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you." John 14:18 ~God Bless You~
I have never met Jesse but wanted to extend my sincere condolences to his friends and family. He will never be forgotten. Please take comfort in knowing that the world mourns Jesse with you today. You are in my prayers.

May you be strengthened in the days to come. My prayers are with you.
Blessed is he who lays down his life for his brother. That is the ultimate expression of love. I know the Lord will honor that. May your family be blessed and comforted at this time. May you all find peace and love in our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Jesse was a friend and fellow Airman with my
daughter Nicolette. She has only wonderful words to describe your son. Many will miss him terribly. Thankyou for your military service, it means so much to me.
May peace be with you Jesse. My deepest sorrows go out to you, your family and friends.
I'm crying with you, Gayle...sending with all my love
I became friends with Jesse in Germany while we both served in the same unit while he was in the Army. He had so many friends. He was blessed with great wit and was always trying to get everyone to laugh. He loved the Broncos and the LA Dodgers.
He always talked about getting out of the Army and moving back to Colorado. I remember going to an opening night showing of Transformers II with about 15 friend, among them were Jesse and my 5 year old son.
Jesse sat next to my son that night and I know that if that same madness would of happened then, he would have protected my boy if I couldn't have.
Jesse was a great Non-Commissioned Officer, Patriot, and friend.
He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
I would like to send my deepest sympathy and prayers to Jesse's family and loved ones,
May God walk beside you and give you peace during this awful time.
Jesse you were always a beautiful and loving person. You touched many lives and you will always have a special place in my heart. Pooh Bear and Tiger for ever.
Although I didn't know Jesse, I do know his grandma, Gayle. Sending my love and prayers to Gayle and her family during this difficult and sad time.
May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of his hand...
Jesse, may your soul rest easy and may God shed his healing graces upon your family in this time of loss. What happened to you was senseless and horrible. I am glad I had the opportunity to have you as a classmate in highschool, your smile was infectious and will always be remembered.
Jesse will truly be missed by everyone who knew him. He was a kind and giving person always thought of others before himself. Although we have not spoken since high school he was always one of those people that I will always remember. Forever in our hearts but never forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family and friends. Jesse my friend we miss you
Sending love and prayers of support and healing to your family and friends and Jesse. Love transcends time, space, and distance...
I did not know Jesse, but I am very good friends with his grandmother Gayle. I have thought, many times, what I would feel like if I had lost one of my grand daughters, and my heart goes out to her for her loss. I know she lost a son, many years ago---and now her son has lost a son. SO VERY, VERY SAD! My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family.
Jesse was always always a cool kid all the time I have known him growing up.. And I am very sad to see such a great guy with a huge heart lose his life at such a young age... You will be VERY missed by so many.. A perfect example of a TRUE hero... R.I.P Jesse

An exemplary person has been taken from this world, one who undoubtedly touched many lives. I had the pleasure of meeting Jesse and spending time with him and his Colorado family off and on throughout the last 8 years. An excellent friend if there ever was one. Taught me a lesson on what it is to be a good person and a friend and I will hold a special place in my heart for him forever. My thoughts are with his family and friends during this time. May he rest in peace.

I've had the pleasure of serving with many of your former soldiers. Your legacy will continue on through strong competent leaders.
Even though I didn't directly know you, I've heard stories and influences you've made on some of my closest buddies in the military. To see them torn and leave their remembrances shows how much of a positive impact you had on them. You will not be forgotten that's for sure. Peace and Respect. My condolences.
I had the honor to have served with Jesse as a soldier in Germany, and to have worked with him for a brief time as a civilian in Kuwait. I am grief-stricken at this tragic loss, and have nothing but the best of memories to remember him by. Jesse was nothing less than the best a man could be.
You and the loved ones that you leave behind are in our prayers. Thank You for your brave service to our country. May you rest peace.
How small our world is. To work "with" you on opposite sides of the world in the Army, and to meet up in Colorado with you in the AF. You leave behind many friends that grieve at your passing, even here in Hawaii. We are all missing our fellow Soldier... Comrade.... Friend. God speed bro!
