Dear Rose & Family, I just learned on Saturday the sad news of John's passing. I've known John since elementary school in Hominy, where we both grew up. After graduation in 1961, the ony time I had the pleasue of seeing him again was when I came to your apartment Rose in Dallas not long after you & John had married. It was my pleasure to meet you Rose, and to spend the afternoon with the two of you. John was a dear friend and wonderful man that will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. My prayer for your family is - "As time passes gradually you will move toward the day when the comfort of your memories is greater than the sorrow of your loss." May God bless each of you and continue to provide daily comfort and healing.
Rose, John,Jr and Consuelo, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. John and I grew up in the same neighborhood, attended school together. John was a dear friend of Harry's and was the "Best Man" at our wedding. We have loads of good memories of John, he will not be forgotten by his friends and classmates from Hominy High/Class of '61. What a great guy! Please accept our heartfelt sympathy... Harry & Pauline Red Eagle
My thoughts and prayers are with all who knew John. I knew him through the Division of Insurance and we enjoyed some lively conversations on health care. Keep the good memories close to your hears.
To the family of John Bell. I knew John from the Division of Insurance - I worked at an insurance company at the time and answered the complaints that John sent our way. I got to know him from visits to the DOI and through our correspondence. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know he will sorely be missed by us all.
